LeMill: educator community for sharing learning resources


LeMill is a web educator community for finding, authoring and sharing learning resources. It was originally developed between 2005 and 2008 by the LeMill team lead by the Learning Environments Research Group of the Media Lab at the University of Art and Design Helsinki, Finland.

The site has an impressive number of teachers (30,645) from 73 countries, and 54,673 learning resources in 80 languages.

Some examples of the resources include:

  • This page on the European Union,
  • The history of the Australian Aborigines ,
  • A description of networks.
