Many of us have changed our reading habits by changing from paper based books, to electronic means, such as using the Kindle. This video shows some case studies of schools using the Kindle in the classroom. Schools like Clearwater High School and Curtis Fundamental Elementary in the video, have been using Kindle e-readers to engage students and enrich the learning experience.
Amazon have recently launched Whispercast, so schools can centrally manage a Kindle reading program. With Whispercast, schools can reduce the administrative cost and complexity of distributing books to students on their Kindles or any device with the free Kindle app, including iPad, Android phones and tablets, PCs, and Macs. Schools can also provide a safe browsing experience for students on Kindle.
