Mr Johnson is a Calculus teacher from Okanagan Mission Secondary School in Kelowna, BC, Canada and his YouTube channel is a excellent repository for flipped classroom resources. One video that caught our eye was one that describes a students take on the flipped classroom (above).
He has also made a video which would be very interesting for teachers looking to convert to the flipped classroom about what the flipped classroom is not.
Another great little video on his channel describes how the flipped classroom became a vehicle to change the teaching practice of three teachers, and the outcomes that it produced in students.
We would recommend having a good look through his videos to see how he has used the concept of the flipped classroom. We think it can give some great ideas to teachers looking to embrace this teaching method.
