Slinky Slow-Mo Science
Videos are a great way of showing students concepts that can be difficult to describe in words or in diagrams. We loved this slow-mo video of a slinky from Veritasium, a science video blog that aims to make science topics clear, accessible and interesting.
“The idea for Veritasium began as a ‘word of the day’ for science so people interested in science can learn about new ideas in short, comprehensible video segments. These short films are also ideal for students, teachers, and schools as they are a free resource on a range of topics. Some films include experiments that can be tried at school or at home. Others include experiments with specialized apparatus that would be difficult to observe otherwise.”
